Maps created in MindGenius 3.8 and later are compatible with each other. MindGenius 3.8 and later use a file format (.mgmx) which is not compatible with earlier versions of the application (.mgmf)
If you need to work with colleagues who use older versions you can continue to use the older file format with newer versions of MindGenius. To save files in the older format, select "Save As" and then pick "MindGenius 2-3 Documents (*.mgmf)" from the file type list.
Users of MindGenius 3.x are entitled to a free upgrade to 3.8 which will ensure compatibility with the newer file format. Users can upgrade to 3.8 via the MindGenius website.
