
Type and Return
Type and return is a technique used to help build your map quickly by capturing what you type – no mouse needed.
To get started:
- Select a branch to become the parent (a new branch becomes a child branch).
- Start typing, then press return to complete the branch.


Drag and Drop
Drag and drop help you to reorganise your ideas (branches) once you have been brainstorming. Doing this allows you to have free-flowing ideas then organise your thoughts after.
To get started:
- Select the branch you want to move
- Click and start dragging away from its current position
- Move to the new location, using the indicators as guidance to the new position
- Release the mouse to complete the move


Create and Assign Tasks
Tasks can be created in the Map view by assigning any task property to a branch.
To get started:
- Select the branch
- Click to expand the task card and properties
- Assign the branch either a Start/End Date, Assignee or Status
